Marine LIF technology
Development of compact and budget-friendly marine LIF LiDARs
PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
How does LIF LiDAR work?
Laser-Induced Fluorescence LiDAR is measuring by exciting the fluorescence light with a laser pulse and analyzing the spectrum of this light response
The main advantage – is high-speed remote survey of the upper water layer in situ from various carriers
Highest sensitivity, the widest range, and high accuracy of remote measurements - 16% for Chl-a, 10% for TSS, and TOC (calibration by water sampling is required)
MEASURING RANGES OF WATER QUALITY PARAMETERS
Measuring ranges of water quality parameters
Chlorophyll a: 0.1 ÷ 400 mg∙m−3
TSS: 0.1 ÷ 120 g∙m−3
CDOM: 0.001 ÷ 0.15 m−1, a440;
Total organic carbon: 0.1 ÷ 100 g∙m−3
Thickness of the surface sensing layer: 0.5 ÷ 5 m
